About me





Maria Ortega is a self taught, freelance makeup originally from California and now resides and works in New York City. Maria moved to New York to pursue her dream of becoming an established makeup artist. From a young age, Maria developed love for color, painting and makeup.

Although Maria has no formal training in makeup or hair, she has worked in almost all facets of makeup artistry and hair.

Her icons in makeup are her mother and the late,  Kevyn Aucoin.

Maria is a makeup artist for the Local 798 IATSE Union.
